It was the offer to Alan of the post of fundraising and business advisor for the Botswana-Baylor Children's Clinical Centre of Excellence (the Baylor COE) which took Robyn and Alan to Botswana from 2005 to 2007. The Baylor COE provides testing and treatment for children with HIV/AIDS. It is connected to Botswana's main hospital and strongly supported by the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Robyn joined Alan for a two-day induction almost as soon as the couple arrived in Botswana. She was subsequently involved in many social activities with the Baylor COE and its staff, and took photographs at a number of Baylor events.
